The Stari Grad Plain, a flat farm area with an old Greek field system (a UNESCO World Heritage site), still grows grapes today. It makes very good plavac mali and pro\u0161ek (a sweet dessert wine). <strong>Dubokovi\u0107 (also in Jelsa)<\/strong> makes natural-style wines in a cellar lit by candles. Book well ahead. Around <strong>\u0421\u0442\u0430\u0440\u044b\u0439 \u0413\u0440\u0430\u0434<\/strong>, small family cellars serve bogdanu\u0161a among the UNESCO fields. Most tastings cost \u20ac15\u201340 and include a small snack. Tastings of older, rare vintages cost more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0421\u043e\u0432\u0435\u0442 \u043e\u0442 \u043a\u0430\u043f\u0438\u0442\u0430\u043d\u0430:<\/strong> Sveta Nedjelja is behind the main hills of the island. The red wines there are best in the soft light of late afternoon. You do not need a designated driver, because the skipper drives.
