The honest answer for Split Airport to Bol in 2026: there is no fast public option, because Bol sits on the far south coast of Brač while the ferry port, Supetar, is on the north. The public route means airport shuttle to Split, ferry to Supetar, then a bus right across the island — realistically 4–5 hours door to door, and only if you land early enough to catch the connections. A seasonal direct catamaran (Krilo, and in peak summer Jadrolinija) cuts that to about an hour; a private boat collapses the whole trip to roughly 35 minutes, landing you on the beach instead of a bus.

Option 1: The public route — shuttle, ferry, bus

The budget path, and it works fine if your flight lands with enough daylight to spare.

Airport to Split port: the Platanus shuttle bus departs roughly 30 minutes after every flight lands, 24/7, direct to Split’s bus station next to the ferry port — about 30 minutes, €10 one-way. A taxi covers the same ground in 20–30 minutes for roughly €45–65. City bus 37 is cheaper but slower and doesn’t terminate right at the port.

Split to Supetar ferry: Jadrolinija’s line 631 car ferry crosses in about 50 minutes, with high frequency — over 20 sailings a day in high season, down to around 9–11 off-season. You rarely wait long here; the risk is missing your connecting bus, not the ferry itself.

Supetar to Bol bus: the leg people forget. Arriva/Autotrans buses cover the roughly 37–38 km in about an hour, for around €6.30 per person — but only a handful of direct departures run daily, so check the current timetable rather than assume one every hour. Miss the last one and it’s a taxi (around 40 minutes, roughly €70 for the car) or a wait until morning.

Skipper’s tip: Don’t just check “what time is the last ferry to Supetar” — check what time the last bus out of Supetar to Bol leaves, then work backwards. In shoulder season that bus can leave mid-afternoon, well before the last evening ferry from Split even departs. We’ve had guests arrive in Supetar at 21:00 with no bus until the next morning and no idea Bol was still 40 minutes away by road.

Add it up — shuttle or taxi, a buffer at the port, the ferry, a wait for your bus, then the bus itself — and a smooth run is 3.5–4 hours from touchdown to Bol. A mistimed one stretches to 5 hours or more.

Option 2: Seasonal direct catamaran, Split to Bol

Two operators run passenger-only catamarans straight from Split’s ferry port to Bol harbour, skipping Supetar and the bus entirely. Krilo (Kapetan Luka) runs closest to year-round, though with a thin winter timetable — around two sailings a day off-season, a third added roughly mid-May to end of September. Crossing time is 55 minutes to just over an hour, one-way fare around €25. Jadrolinija’s line 9603 does the same route (continuing to Stari Grad and Jelsa on Hvar) but is more tightly seasonal, concentrated in peak summer, with a cheaper adult fare around €10 in high season.

Option 3: Private boat, direct from the airport to Bol

This is where we come in.
