Getting from Split to Korčula during the tourist season gives you many options which creates freedom to experience Dalmatia in your own way.
Ferries are the best option when traveling with a car or a bigger amount of luggage. The ferry trips last the longest, but you can walk around, have a drink, and enjoy the view.
Catamarans provide much shorter travel time but lack comfort and space. In most cases, you must sit through the whole sail, which cuts out the possibility of feeling the breeze above the waves. It is, though, the best option for individuals. Luggage is charged additionally.
Private boat taxi should be your go-to choice if traveling in a larger group. Hiring a private taxi boat can help you save time (approx. five hours), without sacrificing comfort or fun. Financially, it is the best option because the price is the same no matter the number of passengers.
